The kids are alright

The other night at the Millennium Stage was special. Not just because of the special guests that joined us on stage (friend! wife!), or because there was fierce crowd competition with Frozen the Musical, or because of the infinite space and beauty of the Kennedy Center. The real reason was that there were all sorts of kids – literally, like, small children – who were able to come to a rare all ages show. And they brought it, crowding the stage, flailing wildly and putting us old people to shame. Apparently we need to do kids’ shows more often. Thank you children (and adults, I guess) of DC!
