Well, we have finally gotten hip and with it, and gotten ourselves a website. Not only that, but this is the first entry of our new blog.* Yeah, we’re going to be all shameless and self promote-y and stuff; we’ll give you details about upcoming shows, tell you about our travels, update you on our music and all that.

BUT we’re also going to pontificate about stuff, because we all know this world needs more talking heads (actually, we do need more bands like the Talking Heads, that’s for sure). We’re throwing our proverbial hats in the ring (and man, we like hats) and will assume we actually have something substantive to say. While we may talk about random things such as the decline of the global economy and kittens**, we’ll probably talk a lot about music, from the decrepit mainstream music industry to the excitement associated with our favorite bands out there. There are tons of acts that we love and that don’t get the proper amount of attention, so we’ll try to boost their ego and let you know about them.

Overall, we’re excited to be able to be in touch with you, the listener. We sincerely hope you enjoy what you read on here, and hope you check back often. If you do, and you even have something to say, we’d love to read your comments. Well, I guess that depends on what the comment says now, don’t it…we are fragile, after all.

* for all you old-timers out there, this word means “web log.” It’s not “brown log,” which we thought for a while. As in, “I built my cabin out of blogs.”
