New Song

After a big news week last week, it’s our turn. Very excited to have Vanyaland premiere “To The Wolves,” the title track off our new EP, which comes out July 17. We hope you enjoy.

Announcement

We are proud to announce that our second release of the year comes out next month. It’s a four-song EP that precedes our full-length in the fall, it’s called To The Wolves, and it comes out on July 17. You will hear more about this, but for right now, check out that artwork by Andrew Fish….

Solo

It’s weird practicing without the band ahead of a solo show. Really weird that there’s only one person to argue with. (Thursday at the Evening Star Cafe in Alexandria, VA with The Beanstalk Library).

Guitar Secrets

Guitar lovers rejoice! George reveals his secrets to crafting the perfect solo to the Boston Herald’s Jed Gottlieb in a very cool interview.  It involves counting, and strings…and notes…and…okay, clearly I am not a lead guitar player.  You should probably just listen to George, here.

Ghosts

Mean Creek

Mean Creek has been a fixture in Boston music for almost ten years. We’ve had the honor of sharing stages and laughs with those four, and have come to know them as truly passionate artists. WERS

tomorrow night, we’re thrilled to celebrate WERS 88.9FM and its devoted listeners at Johnny D’s in Somerville. Help us support awesome radio; a nice long set, and a nice low price.  Click here.

We on a boat

WE ON A BOAT. Or, will be. We’re pumped that our only Boston show this summer is a Rock and Blues Concert Cruises on the high seas of Boston Harbor, when we team up with our friends Parsonsfield on Sunday, July 12. Until April 30, you can get early bird tickets for only $20 here….

New Shows

After a rowdy weekend in Plymouth and Gloucester, and ahead of recording this week, we’re thrilled to announce three NEW SHOWS, in New Hampshire, Providence and New Haven in early June. Just click on shows above…we want to see you. (photo by Kate Connell)

Relix

As the dust settles on our (successful) Winter Pledge Drive (thank you), we’re excited to share with you a video of ‘Cavalry’ (from To The Fire) that the good folks at Relix Magazine shot at their offices (in New York City).  Enjoy (and thank you).
