Coming off a fantastic May show at the U Street Music Hall, we decided we needed to continue our quest to play every great venue in DC.  This time, not only are we playing the Black Cat on Saturday, July 7, but we are supporting two bands we’ve wanted to play with for a very long time.  Tickets are here. These United States
We first saw these guys at South by Southwest last year, but had been hearing about them for a long time before that (and not just because they are remarkably good at blanketing neighborhoods with interesting fliers).  They’re a fantastic DC band, and put on a really engaging fun show. Also, this song kicks ass.

Henry Clay People
These guys are workhorses, always on the road, and it shows. They’ve played bigtime festivals and also put on a high energy show. Also, this song kicks ass.
