A Three Night Lovefest

We’ve been hyping it for a while.  Not in a Y2K, the-world-is-ending-repent! or in a Chinese Democracy kind of way, rather through the old-fashioned way of telling friends. After all, our three-night stand on Dec. 8, 9 and 10 at the Lizard Lounge is all about community and having a good time.  These will be…

MP3 of the Week

Very excited that our song ‘Black Boots’ is the Boston Phoenix MP3 of the week. Check out the link for that, and for details on a quick set we’ll do at Boston’s Converse store on Newbury Street ahead of the Lizard Lounge shows next week. Shoes, lizards, and a phoenix. There’s a joke in there…

A Premiere

A while back we took this photo in the studio. Now, we’re happy to premiere the tune that was all for (Doritos and all).  Nine Bullets Radio today is premiering our song “Black Boots,” which will be on our new EP, Colder Still, officially coming out January 10.  We hope you enjoy.

Ate Our Hearts Out

Had a blast at the Paradise in Boston, despite stuffing our faces with all the amazing dishes cooked up by the chefs for the Eat Your Heart Out benefit. We found a way to not collapse under the weight of our bellies, but still got some help from Chef Rich Morin (from Lineage, creator of…

Eat Your Heart Out

Chicken a la Kingsley

Ahead of Monday’s Eat Your Heart Out Boston benefit (to support Future Chefs and Zumix) at the Paradise Rock Club, our own drummer/reporter extraordinaire Steven Lord tagged alongside chef Rich Morin of LiNEaGe, who was whipping up a dish in our honor.  Sure, Steve may have gotten a bit in the way… …but he managed…
