In checking out our Pledge Music campaign, a few supporters hatched a brilliant plan: they would pool their resources and pledge $350 for the band (us) to record a cover of their choice.  Because of so many differing opinions, they had a Survivor-style contest to narrow it down to three choices, then they left the decision to us.

The choices were:

• “Ophelia” by The Band
• “Broken Face” by the Pixies
• “Take it on the Run” by REO Speedwagon

We have convened, and we’re making the executive decision to go with the Pixies. We have no idea what we’ll do with this song, but – if we meet our Pledge goal – we’re psyched to give it a shot…
